I am Quark, tetrarch of the dragon tribe. You have journied far, and now you have arrived at my lair. Game appearances:
Ramus pesters Alex to go off looking for riches, which brings the group to Quark's lair. Quark introduces himself as the tetrarch of the dragon tribe. He seems to recognize Luna and gives Alex a ring, which is the first step on the path to becomming a dragonmaster. After some pestering from Ramus, he also hands over a dragon diamond, which has... questionable origins. Quark is the father of Nall, and he seems different from the other dragons seen in the games in the fact that he has scales instead of fur (except for the EB blue dragon). My theory is that he is so old that his fur was replaced by scales. In TSS, Ghaleon kills Quark, apparently blaming him partially for what happened to Dyne... and also to leave Althena unprotected. In SSS, Ghaleon captures Quark and uses him and the rest of the dragons as batteries for the Grindery. |
| Nall |
|---|
|
Yes, I'll grow large and eat your first-born, but in a very cute way. Game appearances:
Nall first found his fame as the "flying cat" of the first Lunar game. No one knew he was really the offspring of a white dragon, except for a few mysterious townspeople. Nall had been given to Alex's parents at the same as Luna. Nall, Alex, and Luna grew up together, and Nall was Alex's best friend. He was constantly by Alex's side through the adventure that was thrust upon them. In battle, Nall helped out by identifying the names of the monters they ran into. After the death of his father Quark, it was through Nall that Alex was able to claim Althena's sword, along with the title of Dragonmaster. (In SSS, Quark was not killed but was captured by Ghaleon. Nall was able to become a full dragon to carry the group to Ghaleon's fortress.) Nall once again appears in Eternal Blue, 1000 years later. He first appears as a "rude jerk" who basically tells Hiro and company to get off his property. Though there's a quick shot of him as a white cat, he uses human form, and no one knows he's really the white dragon (unless you've played the first game). Later, it is revealed that he is in fact the white dragon and has had his power taken by the once-dead Ghaleon. Hiro is able to liberate the white dragon's aura from Leo, and after a battle with the white fiend, Nall was restored to his full draconic glory. Nall has appeared in many fanfics and a few IRC RPGs to date. Too much to try and make sense of here. |
| Crystan |

|
Onyx knew we were supposed to choose among those awake, yet he couldn't force himself to relinquish his Crest to anyone other than Ghaleon. The kid needs to grow up! He's not a flying cat anymore. Fanfic appearances:
Nall's daughter is full of harsh words and possibly even more cynicism than her father, but the white dragon of Summons means for the best, though her good intentions are often hidden beneath a thick layer of criticism. Sometimes she will feign disinterest, especially over a topic about an event that could have been avoided had everything gone according to plan, but in reality she is very attentive and catches much more than she lets on. |
| Shiroi |
|---|
|
He sure has mastered the art of blowing hot air. Fanfic appearances:
Shiroi appears to be an exact duplicate of Nall who lives during the same events, but since this fanfic is still being written, we'll have to wait for the mystery to be cleared up. Here are his own words: Yeah well, living with Alex is the best! I love Luna, and Ramus just feeds me. But I don't need to hear every time I go into a new town, "Hey boy, what the hell is that flying over your shoulder?" I mean, it just plain stinks if you ask me. |
| Shiro |
|---|
|
A black dragon that can feel joy and happiness? HAH! It's probably just an act. A baby dragon who yearns for nothing but adventure and action. He's a little impatient but good at heart, and he hopes to be a great dragon when he grows up! Unfortunately, Shiro doesn't get along with black dragons too well, and he despises the black dragon Kuro, who gave him the scar over his left eye. The reason they hate each other so much is unknown. |
| Unaru |
|---|
|
What? So I have another tail. Who cares? This rice is excellent! Unaru is a rather unusual dragon, born with one black dragon's tail, one white dragon's tail, and starred black wings. Most people and the other dragons think this is an effect of cross-breeding between dragons, but no one is really sure. Because of this, Unaru is an outcast from the dragon tribe. She is not one to talk much about herself, and she focuses on the events and happenings of humans, finding them very entertaining and funny. On a power scale, she's very strong but weak in certain points and against certain magics. If there were a way to combine dragon auras, she would be extremely powerful, having the powers of both black and white dragons... but then, no one has come up with a way to do that. Maybe this is why... |
| Tsuchi |
|---|
|
Everything was blessed by the gods. We should treat it with the same respect. Tsuchi believes in complete harmony with nature and the spirits. Perhaps you could call her an "amazon" but without their ferocity. She works well with hearing the Goddess's voice and that of the "higher powers". She also hates to see nature destroyed, and she is rather powerful, cunning, and wise. Her senses are keener than those of most dragons due to her training. She likes to live in heavily dense forests near streams. |
